This Designer gave all of us a story line and I’m going to give it to you just like it was presented to us for this particular collection then I might give you my feelings:
THE BLOSSOM:
This collection was inspired by the transformation of the beautiful young bride into a mature, elegant and chic lady, as a hidden and magical process. Here she is, a young girl who is just about to start her new life with her beloved. She is a charming little goddess, yet innocent and fresh like a rosebud.
The sophisticated clean cut of the dresses, the cotton and handmade lace induce the feeling of youth and purity. The little Goddess is blooming into a chic elegant lady and so the dresses blossom with the use of silk and complicated details.
The apogee of the bridal collection is the “Glowing Bride” dress. It looks pure in the daylight but provoking and radiant at night:
I found the story line to be a little bit much because I just only touched on a small portion of this story. It went from Goddess, Breeze, Princess, China Rose, Tenderness, Crème De La Crème and Glowing Bride and then the last half of the story was and then the young girl changes into an elegant lady of high society. With her, the dresses evolve, becoming more seductive and elegant, showing off her newfound sophistication. Chic, sheer organza pieces take her from day to evening with glamour and confidence.. OMG!! Too much way too much!! Then the runway was almost like the rose ceremony of the Bachelor kind of corny but, an excellent collection!
I think if Nina had left off this amazing fairy tail kind of story would have been so much better and just let her gorgeous work speak for its self and tell the story of romance, love, passion and elegance and everyone would have gotten the point..
Well we are about to see the finale show of the evening for Day 2 and it is none other than Andres Aquino!!
