How Stella Art Thou Stellar Awards!

The south came together to host one of the most fabulous and Blessed events, which is the 27th Annual Stellar Wards taking place at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Held this past Saturday, January 14, 2012- The Stellar Awards highlights the best of the Gospel community, and brings to light all the Praise and Worship by Professional Entertainers.

This years Stella Awards was major for so many and they just kept getting bigger and bigger throughout the night. The fashions were very tasteful and gave respect for the moment that all in attendance was there for; the focus of bring joy and praise.

As you see the Styles that most of the Gospel stares wore were regal and elegant much like the Grand Ole Opry House. This beautiful facility is filled with so much history and the the most dynamic and talented Artist and the Whose-who have graced this stage, so it made it just perfect for the announcements of Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year. With this being stated we would love to you these great and prestigious Award Winning Artists!

There where so many more that where announced and received well deserved awards of the night. I have to tell you I’m a huge fan of Smokie Norful and when he won I felt touched because his music is so soulful and gives such glory. There where others that won such as: Traditional Group/Duo of the Year: The Rance Allen Group: The Live Experience, Traditional Choir of the Year: Mississippi Mass Choir, The Thomas Dorsey Most Notable Achievement Award Honoree: VY Higginsen and the Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones Legend Awards Honoree: Dorothy Norwood.  Here are a few more photos for you all and I hope you will tune in on January 29th Check you local listings for Time.
