Hey LaPazions, its funny when you walk the streets of Paris you really can see and feel the influences of the Designers and the culture that lives and breathes amongst the Parisians. Their style is so different from anything that you see in the States; Parisian just own these very unique individualized looks which is incredible hot!
Prime example is this trend of pattern on pattern; and I don’t mean little subtle patterns-I’m speaking of big, bold in your face:
Look at her she is owning this look form the leggings, to the bold top and bottom the chunky peep-toe shoes and then the cigar style handbag. We loved it, because not only was she very fashion forward, she was classically chic and even Vogue got in on this look and claimed it as a style savvy move.
Next up is the Polk-a-dots and they put big dots on top of small dots and they don’t try to down play it in anyway what so ever:
Look at the fabulous cut on this skirt and how much fabric; the skirt has beautiful movement, flowing and just has enough structure to not look too big on this young lady then she added the gorgeous top which is showing off her arms-This young lady just looks so ready to attend any fashion show, luncheon, date or whatever it is that is taking place. I love her hair and the shoes that she has paired with this look making statements seems very easy for those in Paris. Please don’t forget about the jewelry trends that they’re rocking from stackable rings to big chunky bracelets, metal cuffs that go up the arm the earrings that look like you have several piercings but its all and illusion:
I’m so rocking most of the trends that I saw on the streets of Paris and I loved each one for the unique quality that it added to each look-It gave a very polished finished look and didn’t copy the next person. I’m enjoying the bold floral prints and the cute and every so stylish little clutch bags that the ladies spot and the logo’s on the bags are catchy and cute and expressive of your own style. I love that the clutch is almost like a little piece of art that the ladies carry:
The clutch has been a major staple in the wardrobes of Parisian woman from the early 20’s on ward and they just know how to rock and wear them. I love the textures, colors and the feeling of each little bag and that the ladies are just so polished no matter what the look. Even with the oversized sweaters, leather jackets, oversized skirts to the full shorts no matter what the look they are embracing there true Fashionista style. Don’t leave out the architectural shoes we saw them on the runways and out on the streets of Paris:
We feel that the Parisian’s have a real knack for style and that they really understand how to wear the different textures, patterns and they are not just wearing the looks they are bringing a fashion savvy and forwardness to each day. Loving this season already and its just starting!
