I had the pleasure of pleasures to attend something that is so different from what we normally experience in the Fashion industry. I was in Paris, and got to see the Salon du Chocolat Fashion week!! OMG!! This show was so yummy that I just wanted to just jump up and eat the collections coming across the runway. We didn’t know that you could make chocolate look so fabulous and so much like fabric, I’m just thrilled I had the opportunity to attend this years Chocolat Extravaganza!! I have to give you a taste of what we got to see (yes that was such a pun):

I know totally mind blowing and the thing is this is all chocolate and the details are just ridiculous! Imagine what kind of parties these fabulous Designers give, they are true master workers and chocolatiers if you ask me. I mean at one point when the show progressed and they had the performances going on and they were performing in these elaborate designs, I thought how long can they have these garments out and under these lights before they start to melt? Needless to say there was no mishaps or melt-downs at all and I loved it!! Each design seemed to get better and better each time a new look came out onto the runway; then the stunners of all stunners came slowly slinking out onto the runway and you could hear everyone just gasp and ooh-and-ah over what they presented to us. I mean these Chocolatiers weren’t joking when they put these looks together and the biggest thing is when you looked at the clothing it looked like fabric how they styled the chocolate and sculpted each piece:

I hope you’re taking full notice of the details; which are just breathtaking! Do you realize that I’m telling you that everything is chocolate from the hats, jewelry, fans, buttons, tiers, pleats, ruffles and floral barouches! I mean you can feel my excitement plus what is so amazing the garments you think would be stiff but they even have movement which took me by surprise.
