Happy weekend LaPazions, I don’t know if you are or aren’t a fan of UGG but, I must be honest with you I fell in love with the brand from my first pair that I received as a gift:I love my UGG’s as much as I love my stilettos, a chocoholic loves chocolate and a handbaganista love handbags.  I say all of this to bring home my excitement over hearing the news that two brand new pop-up shops are opening one in Elizabeth NJ and the other in Boston MA.  The Boston store is now open, and is located in Faneuil Hall (4 South Market Building Space 2045) a 1,764 square feet of fabulous UGG products loungewear, handbags, footwear and accessories.

The Jersey Gardens outlet store opening September 3rd (651 Kapkowski Road Ste. 2442) a 1,429 square feet and the best part of both shops is the infinite UGG, which is a seamless online integration that grants access to an endless aisle of merchandise not found in store. Breaking News: Supermodel Gets Suspended Prison Sentence from Italian Court

Hello LaPazions, I don’t know if this woman has a golden four leaf clover, 9 lives or just a bit of a great streak but, for someone who has had 4 assault charges, plead guilty to two cases and now most recently was found guilty of assaulting a photographer by the name of Gaetano Di Giovanni and severely injuring his eye, received a suspended prison sentence from the Italian Supreme Court.

The photo above was taken a day before the sentencing, so it shows that Ms. Campbell isn’t afraid of showing her humor or lack of taking things a bit more serious. Naomi had been sentenced in the past to take “Anger Management” Classes and a situation happened while she was in the class. I don’t really know what exactly will help this gorgeous supermodel but, one thing I do know it only takes one time to hit a person and they fall and hit their head and die-then you are looking at murder charges.  It’s time for her to grow up and realize she should keep her hands to herself and if she doesn’t want to be photographed she needs to step way out of the lime light:Do you think Naomi should have had to server at least a month? Alexander Wang Leaves Balenciaga

Hello LaPazions, yes it is true that Alexander Wang is leaving Balenciaga after a three-year term with the acclaimed Parisian fashion house. This will make yet another incredibly talented Designer to leave a large fashion house to focus on their own label and design, within a three-month span.

First was Donna Karan departs from LVMH and her name sake, now Alexander Wang departs from a giant fashion house that he has had great success outside of his own label. I’m really uncertain what Lady Gaga is going to do because she rocks this label often:

The CEO of Kering confirmed that Balenciaga and Wang chose not to renew their contract, and the last show of Spring 2016 in October will mark the end of Wang’s designs for the House of Balenciaga.  How it sounds is that this is a very amicable split but, you know in our industry you smile, look pretty and never allow the outside world see your dirty laundry.

We’re anxious to see what direction Balenciaga will take, in selecting a new Creative Director as-well-as; who they have their eye on to replace Alexander Wang? We’re excited to see what direction Wang will be taking his personal name sake and from the rumor mills, we hear that there maybe outside investors interested in the Designer and his label. We certainly will be keeping our ears and eyes on this situation closely:

Come on any good Sexy in the City fan knows Carrie Bradshaw was Manolo addicted:I have to tell you honestly, Manolo Blahnik is the guru of guru’s-when it comes to creating fabulous shoes as well as capturing the true essence of a woman: I guess when I heard the big announcement it just didn’t come as a major shock to me because; I’ve been one who has been waiting for Manolo to drop his accessories line but, we don’t have to wait any longer because at the end of this month, Manolo will be giving us a full-collection of stunning handbags that will compliment his stunning shoes!!

YUP!! You read this correctly LaPazions’ our fabulous Designer is giving us a full-collection of handbags!! Woohoo!! Let the celebrations begin!! You must see the collection, I cannot hold back any longer:

LaPazions, yes you just read this correctly Donna Karen who is the Founder and brand of her name sake is stepping down. I think I went into shock when I received this information late today.  The 66 year old fashion Designer has been a staple in the way most highly professional working American women have dressed and are dressing- Seriously the DK brand and name are just synonymous with corporate America. 

We were fully aware that in either the early or later part of 2001 the French based company and major mogul LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton had purchased the brand but; they had stated: “No immediate plans to replace Donna Karen as a Designer” but, in the other breath they stated: “There will not be a showing for the September New York Fashion Week..” I was like WOW!!

I mean what exactly does this mean for the brand and what direction is Ms. Karen going to go now.. Well per a statement that she made:

“LVMH and I have made this decision after much soul-searching. I have arrived at a point in my life where I need to spend more time to pursue my Urban Zen commitment to its fullest potential and follow my vision of philanthropy and commerce.”

I for one am very sad to see and hear this news but, I know Donna Karen is on a bigger and brighter pathway and we cannot wait to see what she will bring and birth on her new endeavors. We’re wishing her so much success in this new chapter but, it’s a sad day in the Fashion Industry.
