Hey LaPazions, I hope you’re enjoying our coverage from this years Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, taking place at the Lincoln Center in New York. This season seems to be flying along rather quickly if I may say so myself. We’ve covered so many shows that it almost feels like we’ve been here over two weeks. I’m excited to be going to the Tracy Reese show; I’m such a huge fan of her work and her design techniques. I know this is going to be a full-house because so many well known celebrities and even the President of the United States wife is a big fan of Tracy Reese, so it didn’t surprise me one bit to see such star power out and about for this show. I see June Ambrose and her little girl Summer (mom is training this fabulous little Diva), Model Meghan Markle, Deborah Roberts (Al Rokers wife) and their daughter, DJ Hesta Prynn, Steven Kolb (CFDA CEO), Javone Armaea and Ken Downing just to name a few:Yeah it’s time for the show to start everyone is being ushered to their seats and now they are removing the floor covering which is a great sign and the light lower, Bam its showtime and the first look is out on the runway! Okay, this is cute a little quirky has a touch of whimsy. Per interviews prior to the show Designer Tracy Reese stated “she was felling romantic when she was designing this collection.”:I’m not so sure I got the romance part of it, or if I lost it in translation but, all and all I thought it was a beautiful well crafted collection that had some major highs with the gorgeous voluminous midi skirts, cropped tops, the color pallet is very bright, bold and gives off the feeling of joy and happiness. I guess if that was the romance part it translated in someone’s mind to be love:This collection per say didn’t take my breath away but, it was very cohesive and the use of eyelet and lace was done very well. I loved the fabrics and the very small details along the hemline. Allow me to introduce the Fabulous Designer Tracy Reese:We cannot wait to hear your thought and opinions regarding what you thought and felt regarding the collection. Did this translate as love and romance to you?
